TURF TRANSPORT UNDER REVIEW – “ENGISTICS” & NHVR.
For some time Dave Raison from Turf New South Wales has been involved in meetings regarding this subject and has kept all of the state associations informed.
As a result of a meeting on the 26th of May 2015 the following information will be of extreme interest to Queensland turf producers especially those transporting turfgrass.
There has been a ‘let sleeping dogs lie / don’t open that can of worms’ feeling about this issue for some time, however there are increasing pressures mounting from a number of fronts.
One of the main concerns is with the legality of the covered wagons / load bearing curtains making their way into the market.
Following recent incidents the distribution to our members for further consideration is timely.
