QTPA Member Alert |Staying in the Green Turf Cost Calculator Workshop Coming to Nambour and Redlands in JULY 2014.

“Staying in the Green” Turf Cost Calculator Workship Comong to Nambour and Redlands in July 2014

Understanding your turf production costing with “Staying in the Green” financial modelling calculator developed by Turf Queensland and Turf Australia, is critical to your sustainability in the medium to long term.

A critical component of successful turf production is understanding your costs.

As Turf Queensland members will be aware a couple of years ago your Association developed the Turf Cost Calculator to allow member companies to undertake their own costing and identify the M2 rate at the farm gate including production of various species, delivery and installation. So far across Queensland we have rolled out 4 workshops to assist our producers in understanding and clarifying the various inputs required to populate the model. Turf producers have continuously requested these workshops and we have reacted accordingly delivering six workshops across the state that are being delivered by Turf Australia’s support via the ‘Turf Levy’ and HAL. This is a good example of your Turf Levy at work and is your opportunity to benefit.

NB: These are the last 2 workshops in Queensland.

Importantly Southeast Queensland is the last to receive this assistance and workshops that will be held in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast and Redlands in South East Brisbane as follows:
