The attached Turf Queensland “Information Sheet” on Erosion, Sediment and Nutrient Runoff Control utilizing environmentally friendly natural turfgrass has been developed to assist Turf Queensland members in promoting the use of natural turfgrass to specifiers, project managers, consumers and end users to assist with the increase sales and awareness.
The “Information Sheet” has been kept to relevant points with photographs being attached that are self-explanatory. We are sure you can utilise this document in discussions especially with regional councils, property developers, landscape architects and your diverse customer base. It can be printed off as required.
This Turf Queensland ‘Information Sheet’ will provide considerable support to members when promoting the use of environmentally friendly natural turfgrass for use in controlling this run off and erosion that causes so much damage to our waterways, rivers and bays. It is extremely important when we talk about protection for our iconic Great Barrier Reef, marine parks and healthy waterways along our coastline and across the state.
