Renee Davidson

Treasurer (2022-2023)

Renee Davidson, General Managing Director of Jimboomba Turf Group alongside her father and owner Lynn Davidson was born and raised within the family business that was first established in 1973, but she embarked on a diverse career path joining the Queensland Police Service when she was 21.

Over the course of 15 years, Renee achieved the rank of Detective Sergeant, dedicating her final four years to the Mount Isa Child Protection Unit. In 2021, following the tragic loss of her aunt and co-owner/director of Jimboomba Turf to cancer in 2020, Renee and her wife Alana left their successful careers to return to the business with their son in toe. With a passion for embracing change through technology and over a decade of experience in leading teams, Renee has played a crucial role in revitalizing Jimboomba Turf, redefining its purpose and direction, implementing a complete electronic system and overhauling the approach to customer service, sales and marketing.

She is also extremely passionate about the turf industry and importance the products produced within it are on our urban environments.
